About Cisco Live!
Founded in 1984 in San Francisco, Cisco is the largest networking company in the world. Cisco Live! is their annual customer and partner conference. Attendees get a networking opportunity by learning directly from industry peers, listening to thought leaders, attending workshops, and scheduling one-on-one time with experts. The conference is widely popular and has tremendous legacy, with the inaugural event occurring in 1990.
Through the redesign, users gained the ability to buy tickets to the conference online, got up-to-the minute updates via social channels, and could even watch sessions online. The campaign and subsequent refresh included a web and mobile website, social media assets, and DMs. They were well received, increasing attendance 20% over the previous year.
I did an audit of the entire site's requirements, and created a UI toolkit that enabled us to build out 50+ pages in a month of development.
